There were some great chocolatey moments at this year’s Dallas Chocolate Conference & Festival. Here’s a rundown of our Top 10 in no particular order:

Every year DallasChocolate.org awards a scholarship for a full year’s tuition to a pastry student enrolled at Collin College. The winner is chosen from applicants that maintain a good grade average, are majoring in pastry, and have a strong interest in chocolate. For the last two years the winner has been Emily Huynh. We had her stationed at the Valrhona booth last year and she must have done a great job because this year she was very specifically invited back. Nice to know she impressed one of our biggest sponsors too.
