Bean to Bar Chocolate Making
Learn to make chocolate from some of the best chocolate craftsmen in the world. Starting with the humble cacao beans, our panel of instructors will guide students on how to roast, crack, winnow, grind and blend their ingredients; resulting in chocolate bars they can take home with them. No previous experience required. This class is ideal for people interested in chocolate making as a hobby (or a business) or those who are curious about where they food they eat comes from.
Chocolate Tasting Intensive
Selecting fine chocolate is like choosing a wine. There isn’t a single right answer, but there are key things to look for. The tasting class is led by Lauren Adler, Founder & Chief Chocophile of renown chocolate shop Chocolopolis. She’s coming all way from Seattle to help our students learn what to look for when selecting a chocolate bar. Rob Anderson of Fresco Chocolate will offer the chocolate maker’s perspective. There will be much to learn and several chocolates to taste. This is a great class for those wishing to learn more about artisan chocolate in an informal setting. Round up your friends and come tasted some of the best chocolates in the world.
